History: The wetlands were completed in July 2013 by the City of Onkaparinga as part of stage 2 of it’s Water Proofing the South initiative.
Habitat: These wetlands cover an area of 21 hectares and have been extensively revegetated.
Total Species Recorded to Date: 93 (non-passerines 59, passerines 34)
Common Species: Eurasian Coot, Black-fronted Dotterel, Australian White Ibis, Rainbow Lorikeet, Crested Pigeon, Grey Teal
Less Common Species: Common Bronzewing, Hardhead, Dusky Moorhen, Royal Spoonbill, Chestnut Teal, Australian Reed Warbler
