History: This park was proclaimed on 22 November 1973.
Habitat: Vegetation types in the park include
- Open woodland of Messmate Stringybark (Eucalyptus obliqua) on the sandy rise, with a similar but denser formation on most of the sandy flats
- Woodland of River Red Gum (E. camaldulensis) and Rough-barked Manna Gum (E. viminalis subsp. cygnetensis)
- Woodland of Swamp Gum (E. ovata) on the flats
- Pink Gum (E. fasciculosa) open woodland with isolated Drooping Sheoaks (Allocasuarina verticillata) on the stoney rises

Common Species: Crimson Rosella, Superb Fairywren, New Holland Honeyeater, Dusky Woodswallow, Grey Fantail, Eastern Yellow Robin
Less Common Species: Southern Boobook, Sacred Kingfisher, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, White-winged Chough, Jacky Winter, Hooded Robin
