Where is it?: Padthaway Conservation Park is located two kilometres north east of Padthaway. Beeamma-Parsons Road forms the southern boundary and Padthaway Road the north-western boundary.

Landscape Management Region: Limestone Coast
History: The area was first proclaimed as Padthaway National Park on 18 March 1971. It became Padthaway Conservation Park on 27 April 1972.
Habitat: Two vegetation associations can be found in the park:
- South Australian Blue Gum (Eucalyptus leucoxylon) – Rough-barked Manna Gum ( viminalis subsp. cygnetensis) woodland, and
- Brown Stringybark ( baxteri) low open forest.
Two sub-associations have been identified:
- South Australian Blue Gum and Pink Gum ( E. fasciculosa) open/low open woodland, and Slaty Sheoak (Allocasuarina muelleriana) open woodland

Total Species Recorded to Date: 99 (non-passerines 39, passerines 60)
Common Species: Rainbow Lorikeet, White-throated Treecreeper, Superb Fairywren, Brown Thornbill, New Holland Honeyeater, Red Wattlebird, Australian Magpie
Less Common Species: Mallee Ringneck, Blue-winged Parrot, Fuscous Honeyeater, Black-capped Sittella, Restless Flycatcher, Eastern Yellow Robin
