History: This reserve was proclaimed on 11 November 1993.
Habitat: This coastal dune area is mostly dominated by Tall Shrubland with Coast Beard-heath (Leucopogon parviflorus), Coast Wattle (Acacia longifolia var. sophorae) and Coast Daisy-bush (Olearia axillaris).
Total Species Recorded to Date: 42 (non-passerines 21, passerines 21)
Common Species: Musk Duck, Hooded Plover, Superb Fairywren, Singing Honeyeater, Rufous Bristlebird
Less Common Species: Orange-bellied Parrot, Red-capped Plover, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, Striated Fieldwren, White-browed Babbler
