Where is it?: The park is west of Ashton and south of Norton Summit. Access is via Woods Hill Road. Giles CP was previously the eastern section of Horsnell Gully CP.

History: Horsnell Gully, including the Giles section, was set aside as a conservation park in 1964 to conserve vegetation associations of the Hills Face Zone. Giles Conservation Park.
Habitat: The rugged slopes of this park are clothed with Brown Stringybark (Eucalyptus baxteri) and Messmate Stringybark (E. obliqua). The lower slopes are dominated by South Australian Blue Gum (E. leucoxylon), Pink Gum (E. fasciculosa), Manna Gum (E. viminalis) and River Red Gum (E. camaldulensis). The valley floors have been severely disturbed.

Common Species: Adelaide Rosella, White-throated Treecreeper, Superb Fairywren, New Holland Honeyeater, Crescent Honeyeater, Black-winged Currawong
Less Common Species: Brown-headed Honeyeater, Black-capped Sittella, Rufous Whistler
